The dollar rose slightly against the Japanese yen and the euro in Tuesday morning trading in Asia as speculation ebbed for revaluation for the Chinese currency, a change that likely would have sent the yen higher. The dollar was trading at 105.64 yen by late morning in Tokyo, up 0.30 yen from late Monday here and above the 105.59 yen it bought in New York later that day. The euro was slightly up at US$1.2842 from US$1.2838 late Monday in Tokyo. The euro edged up to 135.68 yen from 135.42 yen.
